[What would he do with an island? Unless it was an island full of huge animals like the one he had been on with Octo-dude when he had been trying to take control of Kurama.

His arms tighten around her a little. This is nice. Though he wants to test something. His hand runs through her blonde ponytail slowly, feeling the soft tresses fall through his fingers. Did it feel good for her too?]

[But this is said very distractedly because his hands in her hair feel nice. Ino tilts her head in a very kitten-ish manner to give him more access to her prized locks. She works hard (conditioners, oil treatments-- all stuff she makes by hand in the shop) to make sure her hair is soft and managable. Might as well let someone else (and herself enjoy it).]

[Well. He didn't even know he had fangirls, so why would he be their husband? Ino has a better chance at that.

It's hard to really run his fingers through her hair so while she's distracted, and doing cute head-tilting things she likes this too good, he tugs the band out of her hair to let it fall free.

That's better. He can start at her bangs and push them away from her face a little too to see that other eye of hers.]

[She... is not expecting that. Looking at her so closely like that is kind of embarrassing, but Ino stubbornly meets his gaze.]

[Not many people actually got to see Ino's hair in all its glory. She rarely ever took it down because it went past her waist and got in the way but was too vain to cut it.]

Your hair looks good when it's down.

[He'll just ignore that he called her weird. He's not as weird as Sai. Or Kakashi-sensei sometimes. Or Kiba. Kiba was just annoying though. Or fucking Shino. Yeah, Shino is weird.

In any case, Naruto has a thing for long hair. So he's going to play with it and keeping running his hands through it, smiling the whole time.]

[That makes him laugh, right into her blonde hair. It's true. It took a lot more to get him drunk because of Kurama, but it wasn't impossible. He's probably more sober only because their chakra was getting rid of the booze so quickly. He didn't just heal quickly, he was sober more quickly too.

Sometimes it sucked. Gama-chan didn't like when he went out to drink. Luckily, people bought him a lot of drinks too because of who he was.]

[Naruto nuzzles his nose a little deeper and hums.]

[He is getting dangerously close to her neck, which is not protected by her usual high collar shirt, and it is very, very sensitive. She is trying to play it cool, though, even if she just got goosebumps.]

So guys are... friends. Do you talk to him? What would you even talk about?

[These are all things Ino has been thinking over the years but never got a chance to ask. Drunkness and natural curiosity are a dangerous combination.]

[He seems to be gravitating there, mostly because that's where the smell is the best. He's rubbing his nose on the space behind her ear as he speaks, inhaling.]

Sometimes. Usually he just naps since he's pretty lazy. Other times he's makin' fun of me or challenging me at somethin'. He says he's bored a lot. Guess I would be pretty bored too if I was stuck in someone's body with nothin' to do.

[It is a simple and seemingly innocent gesture but his mouth near that certain spot by her ear combined with the alcohol PLUS his voice so close is making Ino turn into a giant puddle of goo. Seriously, who said this guy had no play? He had to know what he was doing!

She is just going to tilt her head a little to expose her neck more as a casual, open invitation.

[That sounded way more sexual than she actually intended but there it is. It makes her laugh after the fact.]

[He has game. It's just an accidental and genuine game that makes him so exceptionally charming. How genuine it is. He's not trying to seduce her, he's just being Naruto. Drunk Naruto but still Naruto. Affectionate drunk Naruto.

His laugh joins hers before he answers.]

[Speaking of his housemate, Kurama was being pretty quiet.

Naruto pauses to stare at the more exposed skin before his eyes lid. He presses his nose to her pulse and then brushes his lips on the junction between her neck and shoulder in a soft kiss.

He mumbles;]

[It is a good game plan that he should always stick with because it is working, oh how it is working. She closes her eyes and enjoys the attention, leaning on him more fully and making the tiniest happy noise.

This is still PG-13 and so Sakura can't get mad at her.

She sends a silent apology to her, Iruka-sensei, Tsunade, and whoever might not have approved of a late night makeout sesh behind the Yamanaka greenhouse.]

[That's a good noise. He likes that noise. It's a noise he doesn't hear often so he smiles against her pale skin and gives it another kiss. This one is far less soft and lingers while he speaks out of the side of his mouth.]

[When Naruto becomes Hokage, the first thing Ino is going to do is make him read some dictionaries. It'll be good for him.

Ino tugs at his hair lightly to get him to tilt his face up. She'd rather be on the offensive than defensive, especially with Naruto being so unpredictable and good at knocking her off her guard.]

[He won't read them.

But why was she worried? He had ensured peace for everyone and life was good. The villages were still allied for the most part. The most trouble they had was everyone wondering when the heck Naruto was going to be Hokage.

Or maybe the Leader of the Free World.

There's a bit of a grunt at the tug and he pulls back to look at her, tilting his head a little before grinning and cupping her face.]

Don't worry. I'm gonna make sure the curse of hatred breaks for good and people finally understand each other. I promise.

[That would be an excellent pick up line, if Ino didn't know how serious Naruto actually is. It's a little hard to believe that he is real-- someone positive even though he grew up in the same place as the rest of them. His life had been pretty much horrible but Ino knows she is much more of a cynic than he is.

His ideas about getting along are wonderful in theory but how is he going to come to terms with the fact that dirty deeds need to be done to keep a village going? That sometimes they did things they weren't proud of for money? Torture and Interrogation? She almost hopes that his good nature will never be tainted by the ways of the ninja world but this is the world they lived in.

She kisses him firmly. Maybe some of his nicesness will rub off on her if she gets close enough.]

[If Naruto is unpredictable, Ino is pretty damn surprising herself.

He mumbles incoherently against her mouth before giving in and kissing her back. This time participating much more than he did the other two times. He even turns them in their spot and takes his turn to press her against the wall, hands planting beside her head.

He could get addicted to this. Easily. If she let him.]

[For the kid who graduated below Shikamaru who never even picked up a pen because he was so lazy, Naruto sure has a high learning curve. The newfound aggression is kind of hot, Ino isn't going to lie. She likes not to be handled with kid gloves. It makes her feel much too guilty when someone is really nice to her.

She bites his lower lip lightly, just a teasing nip, nothing painful that would draw blood.

[Naruto learns much better through action than anything he had done at the academy. He grunts at the nip, and wonders if teeth are free game with Ino.]

[He moves to her throat, scraping his teeth along her pulse and down to her collar. Naruto tugs her shirt a little to the side, so he can get to the skin there and press an open-mouthed kiss on the newly exposed flesh.]

[He would probably be very surprised at what's free game with Ino. You don't start working with T&I and not come out with a few weird tendencies.

She runs her fingers through his hair again, this time nails scratching his scalp lightly. Ino wonders if he's going to leave a mark. She might have to bring back the high collared look but she's not complaining.]

I wonder what people would think of their future Hokage being such a bad boy, seducing poor, innocent young girls this time of night and in public no less. Going through your rebellious phase?

[This time she gets a quiet groan for that.

He considers it, the skin almost too perfect not to be marked and instinctive reactions bubbling inside him. Doesn't help he has Kurama inside him either with ideas of his own. He's probably gently nudging Naruto in his own subtle, sly way.

He pulls back though, surprised. Bad boy? Him? Is he seducing her? Hell, it had been Ino that had kissed him first he was just...

His eyes trail to her exposed throat again and he salivates.]

Ehh, no. I mean...pretty sure I already had that a while ago.

Should I not be doing this? We could, I dunno, go to my house instead.

[Well, maybe not. When's the last time he cleaned? The last time a girl came over he got punched for having such a filthy home. It's not like he was ever there though to care, besides sleeping and his day's off. So what if there was an empty ramen cup here and there?
